The Bleachers Just Dropped A Song Featuring Bruce Fucking Springsteen And Of Course It's A Certifiable Banger
I know the Bleachers dropped this song and I actually really like their music, but this is about the Boss. The music video is just a reminder of how fucking cool Bruce is. Jack Antonoff wearing a lot of similar stuff to Bruce in the 70s and 80s before all of a sudden boom, there's The Boss on my computer screen. I didn't expect to fall in love with a song on a Monday after a packed NFL schedule and NBA trade day. But here we are. It's perfect. It's a certifiable banger, especially in the fall. Nothing like a song to remind you of a relationship. As we say around here it's sad boy season and nothing makes you want to pour a hefty pour of bourbon than remembering how you fucked it up with that one person. Then toss in Bruce's voice and storytelling and I love it. I don't even care if it can make someone sad. Bruce is perfect, I don't even care if it's cliche that he's my favorite artist ever. This is what happens when your entire family is from New Jersey.
It blows my mind every time I remember Bruce is 71 and still this fucking cool. I also look forward to younger people who like the Bleachers finding out about Bruce right now. Would love to see that moment. But Bruce is 71, touring and still dropping new songs like it's nothing. He just put out a brand new album! When I'm 71 put my ass on a golf course until basketball season.
The NCAA Tournament going bubble style and pretty much guaranteeing it will be played. Bruce and the Bleachers. The Giants won. Have a goddamn day Reags. Have a goddamn Monday! Now if you excuse me I'll be on listen 20 of this song now.
